The Manège project entails the technical design and development for the restoration of a 1900s carousel. Commissioned by Les Fondeurs de Roue, it required a collaborative research undertaking between designers, engineers, and manufacturers and has resulted in a contemporary interpretation of a carousel – an exhibition space for contemporary art and a space that oscillates between a state of belonging and a reembodiment of its new context.
