Placed in the park surrounding the Kunsthal Aarhus, OUI features a series of four outdoor sitting installations designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, realised through a cooperation between the Kunsthal Aarhus and the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat. Following the Rêveries Urbaines exhibition in Rennes in the spring of 2016, the project has emerged from Ronan and Erwan’s research on how design can embrace collaborative activity, unfolding an intricate relationship between nature and the man-made.
