Fountain Li Galli, Michael Anastassiades
Installed on the Li Galli archipelago, this fountain designed by Michael Anastassiades rekindles a dialogue with the aesthetic and natural qualities of its surroundings. The archipelago, made up of three islets – Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda, and La Castelluccia – provides a setting steeped in history and mystery.
Crafted from cupro-aluminium, the fountain blends seamlessly into the landscape through the purity of its lines. Ten water jets plunging into a shimmering basin form a minimalist composition where the technical aspects remain discreet. In calm weather, the laminar jets evoke the harmony and serenity of this singular place, establishing a bridge between nature, craftsmanship, intimacy, and simplicity.
