La Grande Perche – Passage Office
Evoking the slow dance of floating markers carried by the swell, La grande perche is a kinetic lamp conceived by Passage Office and crafted by Atelier blam. Its central anodized aluminum mast moves vertically, interacting with the object placed below and creating a dialogue between gravity and lightness.
This first edition, limited to 12 pieces, blends mechanical precision with delicate craftsmanship. Its glass globe, hand-blown by glassmaker Victor Stokowski in the Paris region, adds a poetic and sensory dimension to the whole.
In March 2023, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Bordeaux added La grande perche to its collection, recognizing its singular and innovative nature.
Design : Passage Office; Production : Atelier blam; Date : 2023.
